A seasonal plea:
Homelessness and need don’t only happen at holiday time. I am so grateful to everyone that helped me in donating to CASPAR this past December, but the need continues all year round. So in doing some spring cleaning or summer buying if you could help these populations, please do.
A summertime need:
I am putting together a drive for CASPAR (http://www.casparinc.org/) and collecting new or gently used bath towels and NEW sheets – twin size for their emergency shelters around the Cambridge/Somerville area. This is the same place that I am collecting toiletries for on an ongoing basis. So please let me know if you can donate any of these items and I will make arrangements for them to be picked up and delivered to CASPAR.
Thank you for your generosity! — feeling accomplished.
This is part of my involvement in the Joining Project!
Pics added soon. I think it came out well. I even added a pocket to one side!
Love the colors!

Well planted seeds in a pod and container… two varieties, I’ll see which one is better for the next round of planting. I admittedly have the brownest thumb of anyone I know. I kill spider plants, jades, succulents and ivy. I mean really. Ivy grows wild in our yard but you get it near me and it dies.
So Chives…. I was hanging out at Home Depot yesterday and spotted the coolest thing! PVC end caps, the kind used in plumbing. They are rounded on the bottom so they wobble on a flat surface. I purchased those, 2 different packets of seeds and those “just add water” pods. I planted the seeds today…
We’ll see how it goes!!!
