An impassioned plea

An impassioned plea….

I’m one of the MIT community giving ambassadors at work. We’ve organized a toiletries drive for local homeless shelters in the Boston/Cambridge area.

I’m not asking for donations to our drive, but rather that everyone, wherever you are, if there is any kind of shelter, find out if they need toiletries also and give what you can.

Every single person, no matter what their issues are deserves to be clean. Food, clothing, and shelter are what every parent wants for their family. The last thing on their minds is their “monthly.”

So please if you can, help your community by thinking outside the box.

I learned about this issue when I was volunteering at a food pantry in Cambridge as a teenager. It made an impact on my life.

Contact me with any questions. I’m happy to help!
Thank you,

Shelly
