5th annual! First project is half square triangles. This is the first sewing part. The dotted squares are placed right sides together with the white squares and sewn on all four sides. Next step will be posted soon!

Table runner
I made this for my mom (auntie got a matching one) two years ago. The pattern was a mystery during my Quiltzilla weekend 2012. It is really striking on our dark table.
Progress!
Last year at Quiltzilla I learned a new technique to make half-square triangles (thanks deb m!). I bought a charm pack and started sewing. This year I actually cut them apart and have been ironing them open. Yes my ironing board is pink camp, and I have a mini iron 😀
